Overview
This webinar will feature two Psychology of Sport Injury experts who will discuss current theory and research as it relates to injured athletes navigating the rehabilitation landscape. In addition, applications of the theory and research will be made to clinical practices, with a specific focus on the role of e-Therapies in sport rehabilitation. Britton Brewerwill begin the webinar with a discussion of theory and research on the relationship between psychological factors and sport injury rehabilitation outcomes. Jordan Hamson-Utley will then discuss evidence-based practice guidelines on working with injured athletes and performers. She will discuss the implementation of e-Therapies in the form of mobile applications including mobile phones, iPods/iPads, and other tablet devices.
